Programming, Map, Coordinates and Airspace

1. PROGRAMMING TRAINING DAY

Tuesday, January 17

– 08: 00h Opening of the Headquarter REALMINAS HOTEL
Location: Praça Serra Lima, 607 – Downtown

– 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Departure from the transports to Ramp
Location: Rua Afonso Pena, next to RealMinas Hotel
* Access to transport (04 buses and 02 vans for pilots + 02 trucks for equipment) will be checked on the list of registered pilots.

– 10: 00h delivery of the snack kit to registered pilots
Location: Take off ramp – Ibituruna Peak
* Check through pilot list

– 10:30 am Briefing of the day
Location: Take off Ramp – Ibituruna Peak
* Important participation of all, will be passed information on the weather of the day, the landings on the region and restricted airspace of the Airport and over the city of Governador Valadares.

– 11:00 Window Opening
* The organization will provide retrieve on the route of the determined “training” task.

– 2:30 p.m. Time limit for the flight
* Mandatory Landing

– 15: 00h to 19: 00h Official Registration
Location: Headquarter REALMINAS HOTEL

– 19: 00h Safety briefing
Location: Commercial Association Auditorium – in front of REALMINAS HOTEL

– 21:00 Opening Ceremony

3. AIRSPACE AND OTHER RESTRICTIONS

The flight area of the Ibituruna´s Peak is inserted in a large permitted airspace, SRB350, and during the competition we have already authorized a NOTAM that enlarges this area of flight.

THERE IS NO HEIGHT RESTRICTION.

There is a restriction to flights over the centre of the city of Governador Valadares, in the area to the northwest of the officiall landing field, A01014 Feira da Paz, and an area that includes Valadares Airport, R01 Aeroporto Valadares, and near region (see red area on the map above).
