4º Campeonato Panamericano de Parapente FAI 1 em Baixo Guandú – ES
Nesse final de semana após 7 dias de competição, a cidade capixaba de Baixo Guandú realizou o 4º Campeonato Panamericano de Parapente, com 110 pilotos competindo, alguns não conseguindo chegar devido ao coronavirus, o evento contou com a Secretaria Municipal de Saúde da cidade que realizou um trabalho exemplar e monitorou diariamente todos os envolvidos na competição, a comunidade recebeu os visitantes e o comercio local fez a economia movimentar a rede hoteleira, restaurantes entre outros. Cerimonia de abertura feita somente na area do QG devido a chuva contou com a presença dos membros da FAI inclusive eu representei o Brasil como sendo Vice Presidente FAI na comissão de jurados desse evento. Com uma apresentação de um grupo local o prefeito Neto deu as boas vindas a todos e o representante FAI – CIVL, Andy Cowley se pronunciou abrindo o 4º Campeonato Panamericano de Parapente em Baixo Guandú – ES 2020. Briefing de Segurança com os pilotos comandado pelo Juiz Geral Marcelo Ratis e Dió e logo em seguida com os Team Leaders..

Evento FAI 1
Primeiro Dia de Prova, a condição meteorológica prevendo chuva, estrada de terra com a chuva do dia anterior poderia ocasionar alguns problemas com o transporte dos pilotos a comissão de pilotos decidiram com a organização cancelar a PROVA do DIA.
Segundo dia de prova apesar da chuva a programação foi mantida depois da reunião diária com os team leaders e a subida para a rampa do Monjolo foi feita.

Antes da abertura da Janela a chuva chega na região da decolagem e todos vão se abrigar e esperar a decisão da organização.
Janela Aberta e um Race to Goal de 37.7km com uma corrida entre o teto baixo e chuva pela região, na ultima transição pilotos a frente entre eles Rafael Saladini, Jeison Zeferino ficaram no End Speed Section e o argentino Julio Ortiz chega no Goal sozinho.

4º Dia de prova com um Race to Goal de 64.9km com o Goal em Laranjeiras e vencedor do dia foi o russo Gleb Sukhotskiy
CAUSO do DIA… O piloto de Poços de Caldas – MG, Cristiano Ricci ‘Vermelho” numa transição pousa numa area onde no ultimo evento deu um problema com o proprietário da fazenda, mas dessa vez houve uma agressão, a pessoa se aproximou e deferiu uma paulada na cabeça e no braço até ele partir para cima e imobilizar até a chegada doa funcionários da fazenda, Vermelho e Frank Brown, após a ida ao hospital e feita radiografia do braço que estava doendo, mas não houve fratura, seguiram para delegacia e fizeram o boletim de ocorrência e seguiam para fazer um exame corpo de delito, quando houve uma tentativa de fuga na delegacia e o tumulto fez com que fosse adiado esse exame naquele momento.
