Sobrevoando o Monte Fuji by Pál Takáts… Less than 24 hours after arriving to Japan and still fighting serious jet-lag, this morning I overflew Mount Fuji (3,776m) !!!
Apparently the first time ever in Japan’s paramotoring history! Launched AND landed at sea level covering 55 km with an altitude gain of 4200 meters!!! It was simply insane! A dream coming true! I had this in mind since ever I knew I’ll come to Japan..
To complete the circuit, I needed about 7-8 liters of gas and some early morning thermal help off those massive volcanic slopes with my Cors-Air Motors engine (Black Devil 172cc), Flyproducts paramotor and Ozone Power Viper2 20m2 (can’t wait to get my new Viper4 now!! 🙂
Many thanks to all the local help, especially from Yoshiki Kuremoto! More pictures and video will follow.
Now ready for the Redbull air race in Chiba next weekend! 🙂
